Hong Chi Climbathon – the only fundraising stair run in town to support people with intellectual disabilities is arranged with full support of the Sino Group, Sun Hung Kai Properties and a multitude of caring corporations since 2004. Companies and organisations are invited to form relay teams and the race track will also open up for caring individuals who would like to take up the challenge of climbing 1,688 steps straight up to the 75th Floor – "Apex" of Central Plaza, after securing a minimum donation in support of this worthy cause.

Central Plaza Facts

Central Plaza is a 75-storey grade A office tower strategically positioned in Wanchai North commercial district in the heart of Hong Kong's business centre. It is 374 meters in height, one of the tallest buildings in Hong Kong. "Lightime", a high-tech lighting system, is installed on the tower top. It consists of four neon bands which indicates the time by changing colours in a regular sequence (four neon bands in the same colour representing one hour), synchronized to the Hong Kong Observatory clock.
