District Support Centre The Centre adopts a district-based approach to provide one-stop community support services for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and their family members / carers. It aims at enhancing the domestic living and community living skills for PWDs so as to facilitate their integration into the community through the provision of a range of community support services. It also provides training and support services for the family members / carers of PWDs so as to strengthen their caring capacity and to relieve their stress. Clients 1. PWDs living in the community 2. Family members / carers of PWDs; and 3. Community at large Application PWDs and their family members / carers can directly approach the Centres for services. Fees and Charges Annual Membership fee: $21 * Specific service will be charged according to the standard charges set forth by the Social Welfare Department. * Service user can contact social workers to apply for fee waiving. Service Hours Monday to Thursday: 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Friday: 9:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. Saturday: 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
