Wheelock Properties and Hong Chi Association Present: "Christmas Sports Party” Design Competition

[23 December 2025, Hong Kong, China] The annual Christmas Design Competition, co-organized by Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited and Hong Chi Association, has successfully concluded on 11 December. This year’s competition carried the theme of “Christmas Sports Party”, which provided a valuable platform for Hong Chi children to showcase their artistic talents, with each colorful piece reflecting their imaginative visions of Christmas. This year Hong Chi student was featured as the emcee of the award ceremony, demonstrating his outstanding emcee talents, echoing Wheelock Properties’ long-standing commitment to promote an inclusive society.

This year’s competition received an enthusiastic response, with 169 entries submitted by Hong Chi students across two groups: Group A (11 years old or below) and Group B (12 years old or above). After three rounds of judging by representatives from Wheelock Properties and Hong Chi Association, based on four criteria: relevance to theme, overall composition, creativity and use of colour, winners were carefully selected. Each group awarded one Champion, one First Runner-up, one Second Runner-up, and 10 Merit Awards, totaling 26 winners. In addition to receiving a festive gift bag, each winner was also presented with a sports towel printed with their winning design as souvenir, specially prepared by Wheelock Properties.

Mr. Ricky Wong, MH, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited, expressed, “We are honored to have partnered with the Hong Chi Association for 17 consecutive years in co-organizing the annual Christmas Design Competition. This year’s theme, “The Sporty Christmas”, encourages students to express their imagination of a healthy lifestyle and festive joy through art. The students’ creativity and artistic quality were truly impressive. As in previous years, the champion designs from the two groups have been brought to life by turning them into Wheelock Properties’ corporate e-Christmas card and physical Christmas postcards, allowing us to share their inspiring work with the wider community. As a long-term partner of the Hong Chi Association, Wheelock Properties remains committed to supporting students’ all-round development through a variety of initiatives, working hand in hand to build a more inclusive society.

The winning entries will be uploaded to Hong Chi Association's Facebook and Instagram pages during this Christmas season. Everyone is welcome to visit and appreciate the artworks.
