“I Support, You Run” Fund Raising Programme

“I Support, You Run” Fund Raising Programme

In 2017, we have started a small fundraising programme “I Support, You Run” to raise donations for supporting Hong Chi students of different grades of intellectual disabilities and ages coming from our 13 special schools to enjoy sports and outdoor activities. The programme aims to unleash students’ sporting talents, widen their horizons and social circles through playing sports. We sincerely appeal to your support to continue this meaningful fundraising programme. Your every donation will be designated in supporting Hong Chi students and youngsters for joining sports and outdoor activities, as well as Hong Chi in providing non-subvented education services. This will provide a chance for students of different ages and grades of intellectual disabilities to receive quality education and to fulfill their potential.

Support non-subvented job training and placement

To assist people with intellectual disabilities to enter into the open employment market, Hong Chi Association has set up various self-finance social enterprise projects to provide non-subvented on-job training and placement for them since 1999. Trainees receive appropriate training in a real-business setting to develop skills and attitudes required to enter the job market, as well as to enhance employers’ confidence in hiring people with intellectual disabilities. Please donate to support the non-subvented job training provided to people with intellectual disabilities and assist them in leading a fulfilling life.
